A nerd I must be - I certainly work with computers, and play with computers for relaxation!

My first love was the Commodore 64 and I'm slowly building up a collection of simulated C=64 games from way back in 1986 to play on the PC

As a mad Quake player I go under the apt name "Callanfodder" on Labyrinth's totally excellent Quake server, Dionysus. Though not dedicated enough to join any [clan], I enjoy a good bloodfest as well as the next gamester.

I'm also very interested in DiabloII LOD, which I play in solo mode or in TCP/IP mode with an American friend living in Hungary. I work the mouse, Winter keeps watch ("Quick! take a potion NOW!" and "Watch out! Behind you!" and works out the strategies. We make a good team!

So far we've taken a Necromancer (Lord Callan) through to the end of Hell level in Diablo II Classic, and a Sorceress (Matriarch Callidess) through to the end of Hell level in LOD - in fact, we finished last night... Where to go now? Start a new character off from scratch? Convert Lord Callan to D2X, and go kill Baal with him? We do have another couple of characters waiting in the wings - Callidruid (a Druid) and Calladin (a Paladin) An Amazon might be nice, too...

As it turns out, we've opted for an Assassin called Callassin (what else!?)
